BBT-SIPs used in cold and dry conditions usually use wooden skins or facings such as OSB or Plywood. For tropical areas with high humidity and potential concerns of termites and other bugs the appropriated facings are Magnesium Oxide (MGO) wallboard, Fiber-Cement or Light Weight Cement boards.
SIPs are mostly used for Floors, Walls, Ceilings or Roofing when structural components are required.
